The remains of Comedy King Rodolfo "Dolphy" Vera Quizon were brought to the Heritage Park in Taguig City before midnight Tuesday, hours after he passed away at age 83.

Dolphy's remains arrived at the Heritage Park at 11:55 p.m. from the Makati Medical Center, radio dzBB reported early Wednesday.

But the public was not immediately allowed to proceed there to pay their respects to Dolphy. Only the family was allowed to do so.

Dolphy died of "multiple organ failure secondary to complications brought about by severe pneumonia, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and acute renal failure” before 9 p.m. Tuesday.
